Anya Taylor-Joy feels stronger as a result of her experience in the Mad Max universe.
The 26-year-old actress posted three photographs on Instagram on Thursday to commemorate the conclusion of her work on the forthcoming spinoff Furiosa, in which she plays the role played by Charlize Theron in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. One photo showed director George Miller standing next to what seemed to be an airplane, while another showed her relaxing in the sun.
“What a rideeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee “Thank you to the wasteland’s nuts who have ran rampant with me across this country. The most enjoyable, the most resilient, and the most talented. ”
“It’s been an honor and a joy to collaborate with you all… Thank you for making me stronger than I ever imagined. Guzzoline, blood, and fire” Taylor-Joy concluded by saying, “Furianya 🔥.”
The film, which is set to be released in 2024, is reported to be the largest ever filmed in Australia, and it also stars Chris Hemsworth. The Thor star, 39, recently spoke with Men’s Journal about the film’s production.
“We’re right in the middle of things with Furiosa, and it’s wonderful, so much fun. I came into this project fatigued, having recently finished a few press trips and a few other films, yet revitalized. George Miller is really amazing. So I’m OK; it’s been a hard day, but I’m content, “he stated.
Taylor-Joy, who will next be seen in the thriller “The Menu,” said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast in 2020 that she “fell in love with Furiosa the way Charlize portrayed her” in the previous film.
“She did such an amazing job, and it was so lovely, that I can’t even imagine attempting to fill her shoes. It must be something else because it just cannot be done. “She also mentioned following up on Theron’s performance. “I strive to equal the degree of devotion demonstrated by those who have come before me. That excites me much. [Charlize] is fantastic. I have a lot of admiration for the creators of this wild planet. ”
In September, the actress told Vogue Australia that playing Furiosa made her happy. “”I’m stronger than I believe I’ve ever been,” he says, adding, “and I’ve never carried firearms before.” They’re firearms for a lady my size, but weapons are guns, so I’ll take them. “
